Abstract: Scientometrics has emerged as a prominent and fast-growing field in Library and Information Sciences. The present study also deals with the Scientometrics aspect of one of the prominent fields of Nanophotonics. The data for the present study has been collected from the Web of Science database from 2000 to 2020. The result reveals that a total of 3596 publications have been published on Nanophotonics. The highest publication is 523 in 2020 with 6067 Global Citation Scores, and the highest number has been contributed by the USA (32.2%) of the total global output. Most of the Nanophotonics literature was published in Journal Articles, the prominent journal being Nano letters. Multi authorship trend is more dominant than single authorship. The Chinese Academy of Science is the topmost contributor.
