Abstract: Moola noi is the commonest disease mentioned in many Siddha text books and treated successfully by using thavara, thaathu and jeeva products. According to the Siddha concept, exacerbation of abana vayu makes the faeces as dried har material and formed muscular mass into anus. It leads to reducing pachaka pitt: which makes indigestion and abdominal discomfort. This literary research carrie out on eleven authentic Siddha text books, to develop a data base of medicina preparations used for moola noi. Out of Total preparations (317), (67)22% wa external preparation classified as 08 forms of pura marunthu according to th Siddha aspect and (250)78% was Internal preparation classified into 19 form of aka marunthu. In internal preparations, most of the ingredients were (82% thavara vakuppu and in external preparations, thaathu and jeeva vakuppu wei also used approximately in same percentage. In internal preparations, most of th ingredients were (15%) veppamundakki (Stimulant), (14%) thuvarppi (Astringent (14%) Uramakki (Tonic), (11%)pasitheethondi(Stomachic) and in extern preparations (16%)udalthetti (Alterative), (14%) thuvarppi(Astringent), and (099 malakari(Laxative) were mostly used. According to the pharmacodynamics ingredients, (37%) kaippu suvai, (25%) thuvarppu suvai, and dominant (949 veppa thanmai and dominant (78%) karppu pirivu. some external preparations we especially mentioned to fall down moola mulai, one of it is medical ring whi was made by metal and mineral. The therapeutic actions of medicaments are w influenced with thridhosha and give a balanced equilibrium and give strength seven udal thaathu. So these internal and external preparations are most effecti and will treat successfully.
